Server activation flow

The active onboarding path starts from the Discord server cards on the Medusa dashboard. The card changes its available action according to the server subscription and bot status.

1. 1Sign in with the Discord account that can manage the target server.
2. 2Find the Discord server card on the dashboard.
3. 3If the server has no Medusa subscription, click Buy Subscription and complete checkout.
4. 4After the subscription is active, click Invite bot when the Medusa bot is not yet in the Discord server.
5. 5Authorize the Discord bot invitation for the correct guild.
6. 6When both the subscription and bot are active, click Open server config.

Delegated administrators

A delegated administrator can open a server that already has its own subscription. The delegated admin does not need to purchase a separate subscription for that server.

Recommended first configuration

1. 1Open Access Control and add or review the assets used by the community.
2. 2Create the Discord role rules.
3. 3Use Check wallet with a known qualifying wallet.
4. 4Review Verification Logs so you know where to investigate future access problems.
5. 5Configure marketplace and subscription automations if needed.
6. 6Review Team and Billing before handing day-to-day administration to other people.
