How access is evaluated

A Medusa-enabled community defines access rules that connect onchain ownership conditions to Discord roles. Medusa evaluates connected wallets against the server’s active rules and can assign or remove the configured Discord roles when eligibility changes.

• Collection rules can require NFT ownership and a minimum NFT quantity.
• Solana collection rules can optionally require specific NFT traits.
• Token rules can require a minimum balance.
• EVM rules on Ethereum Mainnet and Robinhood Mainnet can evaluate ERC-20, ERC-721 and ERC-1155 assets.

Multichain identity

A member can link wallets across supported chains to one Medusa identity. Rules remain chain-aware, so holdings on Ethereum Mainnet, Robinhood Mainnet and Solana are evaluated against the rules configured for their own network.

Before reporting missing access

1. 1Confirm the correct wallet and chain are still linked in Profile.
2. 2Confirm the required asset is currently held by that wallet on the expected network.
3. 3Confirm you are using the same Discord account connected to Medusa.
4. 4Ask a server administrator to inspect the relevant rule and verification information if the role still does not match your holdings.

What the administrator can inspect

Server administrators can inspect configured rules and Verification Logs. The current Check wallet tool provides an additional read-only eligibility view for Solana.
