Connect a Solana wallet
Link a Solana wallet by signing the Medusa authentication challenge.
Standard Solana wallet
- 1Open Profile → Add New Wallet.
- 2Choose Solana.
- 3Select a supported Solana wallet in the wallet selector.
- 4When Medusa asks for wallet verification, approve the authentication signature.
- 5Wait until Medusa confirms that the wallet was added.
Wallet linking is an authentication action
The standard Solana linking flow signs a Medusa challenge. It is not a payment and does not transfer NFTs or tokens.
Hardware wallet mode
The Solana linking flow includes a Hardware Wallet option for wallets that use transaction signing instead of signMessage. Medusa builds an authentication transaction containing the challenge and uses the signed result to prove wallet control.
If signing fails
- Confirm the intended Solana account is selected in the wallet extension.
- Reconnect the wallet and retry Add New Wallet.
- Use Hardware Wallet mode only when your wallet requires that signing path.
- Do not approve unrelated token transfers when your goal is only to link a wallet.
